The Midwest Fetal Care Center, a collaboration between Children’s Minnesota and Allina Health, provides maternal and fetal care when a high-risk pregnancy affects the unborn baby. As the first and largest advanced fetal care center in the Upper Midwest—and one of only a few in United States—the Midwest Fetal Care Center brings together maternal fetal experts and the latest technology and treatments in a coordinated setting. 

We’re with patients every step of the way from prenatal diagnosis and fetal treatment to delivery, postnatal care and long-term follow-up. From evaluation and diagnosis to fetal surgery and follow-up care, our care model puts mothers and babies first, and offers a continuum of care that is among the best in the nation. For babies who need fetal surgery, Midwest Fetal Care Center has some of the highest survival rates and the lowest rates of post-operative complications in the reported literature.
