What to expect during a water birth
During labor, the mother is in a cushioned tub of warm water that can help her relax and manage pain. This tub is larger and deeper than a regular bathtub and is deep enough for water to cover the mother’s abdomen. Water birth deliveries occur in a caring environment and are supported by an experienced team specially trained in water births.
